This is a quarter page advert that I pulled from free newspaper The Metro. It is mainly pushing one specific bet that you can place on the live match that night between Liverpool and Marseille. The majority of the advert is made up of of ‘what you could win’ offer, they have used an example of a very plausible yet difficult bet and that is for Liverpool to win 3-1 and their best player Steven Gerrard to score the first goal. What rabs the readers attention is the fact that just a £5 bet can win you £250! Also what is a fantastic offer and also grabs the attention of the reader is the same offer that they seem to place in all of their advert and that is if you bet up to £25 you get a FREE bet of upto £50! MEBET is in conjunction with Blue Square which are a huge betting site so this is great advertising for those too. Finally the bottom of the advert is made of the main thing you need to take advantage of these offers and that is to log onto www.mebet.co.uk

This advert was taken from The Sun newspaper, it is only a small advert and many might see it as an advert that could get lost on the page but I disagree, mainly because it is promoting Sky Vegas, the Sky logo is one of the most recognised logos in Britain due to it’s millions of customers. It is a very basic advert which is offering 10% cashback on all Sky Vegas games. It doesnt tell you what games that includes but maybe is the whole point, perhaps it will get people intrigued enough to long to the sky website and see more about it.
